Design • Photography • Film • Motion

Brent Ferraro designs digital experiences with the eye of a filmmaker.

I’m a Design Manager at the University of Florida, based in Gainesville. I bring together design, photography, film, and motion to build brand systems, websites, and visual experiences that feel intentional, immersive, and considered.

Design Leadership I lead branding, websites, digital systems, photography, and video for the UF College of Design, Construction and Planning.
01
Visual Storytelling I use photography and cinematic framing to shape atmosphere, document people, and elevate institutional and editorial stories.
02
Motion and Film I work across video, editing, animation, and motion-driven interfaces to bring brand and story into the same frame.
03
Transition Space

A corridor that bridges identity and work.

Design manager, photographer, filmmaker, and visual builder. I create work where structure, atmosphere, and movement all support the same goal: a stronger visual story.
I’m based in Gainesville, Florida, working across web, branding, photography, film, and motion.
Work Realms

Four disciplines, one visual language.

These are the core areas I work in, organized as scenes you move through instead of sections you scroll past.

01
Design Realm

Design systems, branding, and digital experience.

I design identities, build websites, shape interfaces, and manage systems that need to work clearly at scale, especially in complex institutional environments.

02
Photography Realm

Photography with atmosphere and intent.

I shoot events, portraits, and environments, focusing on light, texture, and composition to give each image a sense of atmosphere.

03
Film Realm

Film craft and visual narrative.

I approach film through storytelling, editing, and pacing, often leaning into documentary structure to communicate with clarity and tone.

04
Motion Realm

Motion design and living interfaces.

I design motion systems, micro-interactions, and transitions that give digital work a sense of depth and presence.

Projects should feel entered, not opened.

These projects reflect how I approach real work, from website redesigns and digital storytelling to photography, film, and motion-led systems.
